Our four direct ancestry lines are Carter, Woolverton, Woodard, Sparks. 
other direct lines are Ashton, Draher, Eyles, McFarland, Morrison, Scott, Smith, Southard, Wolverton, 
Shearman/Sherman and more. I have done extensive research on the above lines, some I have very little 
information others I have a lot, just not added all information to my database yet.

My name is Kathy Ann Carter White. I go by Kat. I was born April 9, 19XX to Norman Eyles Carter 
Jr. of Chicago Illinois born 1933 now Deceased, and Beverly Jane Woolverton of Huron 
County Ohio, born 19XX. My dad served 22 years in the USAF, was in Korea twice and 
Vietnam. I have been married twice, now married to husband #2 Steve. I have two 
children from my first marriage Shane and Kirsten and one granddaughter Morgan.

Our family tree is still a work in progress. I've worked on it off and on for about 
11 years, it's been completely fun and rewarding. I'm so proud of our ancestor's as 
they have worked so hard to forge a life not only for themselves, but probably 
without realizing it a better life for us today. God Bless them for all that they did 
to make life better for us. I do realize after doing so much research they worked so 
hard for a life, a good life for their children and their grandchildren. They came 
from all over Europe --- Scotland, Ireland, England, Wales with some German and Dutch 
decent. I want to preserve our heritage and learn more about where I came from and 
what my family went through to get here. I love history and especially my own family 
history. It makes me have great pride in them and our country. Thank you to all my 
family contributors and those of you who have helped me in finding all the 
information I have. Much information obtained was from my own research, which took 
countless long hours as I researched through the night and lots of $$ and time with 
lots of letters & emails sent to get records needed to complete lines. It's all been fun 
though and I look forward to updating and sharing this information with everyone.  
I'm sure I will continue to find out much more and perhaps some road blocks will be 
removed and exciting information revealed as I learn to search even better with the 
new wonderful websites out there today. 

I have a lot of information that I am still adding to my Genealogy program so I am 
making updates daily and weekly. Once I have made a good progress of updates 
I upload my GEDCOM of information with fresh information.  

Wonderful stories and many mysteries have unfolded during my research and I hope to 
post them soon. We've also submitted a DNA testing from my oldest brother using the
www.familytreedna.com. Pretty exciting stuff.

As I stated above I have a few roadblocks on my Genealogy journey on the paternal and maternal side. 
Hopefully I will learn to research better. Cemetery records and other records generated by 
death are often a wonderful logical starting point for any researcher who applies good
genealogical procedure by working from the past to the present.  

I leave you with a poem I wrote that my sweet friend Liz says she loves. So I decided to post it here. I hope you

~Edge of Time~

I open up my closet, and I see sky beneath me, under me, all about me, it is a vast amount of sky. 
I really do not feel so good.
Where are my things?
I am standing on the edge of time.
Fear not troubled heart, this immoral land will suffer, but God's people will not. 
The winds blow back against my face, my hair and my neck. I feel a chill within me. 
The clouds are moving quickly.
I see the times are changing.
I begin to cry and I feel sick to my stomach. 
God I cry! please help me! please help us!
We must keep praying for God to hear our cry and heal our land.
Even until the very day of his return.  
God says to pray without ceasing.
The enemy which is Satan, has come to steal your joy, but you must not let him win.
This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
It is time to close my closet.
It's not really empty I begin to see, as I close the doors.
I turn my back against the closet afraid to open it again for what I might see once again.
I seen my things eventually in the closet.
But they don't mean much.
Our purpose in this life is not things, but souls for Christ.
We must get rid of all the clutter of the mind and be ready to serve the Lord.
Evil is not good, and those who commit evil and permit evil will not see heaven and do not hold God's 
commandments in their hearts.   
There is a right choice and a wrong choice. There is a moral choice and immoral choice. 
Open up the closet of your mind. What will you find in your closet as we are standing on the edge of time?
